Amy lassila
Principal, Project Manager
A University of Washington graduate and Washington State native, Amy enjoys the duality of design and structure that Hyde Evans Design offers her. A left-brainer at heart, the creative environment of interior design balances her (sometimes) overly practical tendencies. She has accumulated a vast knowledge of the inner workings of the design industry, particularly in Seattle, that she instills in every project.
Benni Adams
Senior Designer
Always interested in human experiences within built environments, Benni earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design and minor study in Art History from the Interdisciplinary Design Institute at Washington State University. Before joining Hyde Evans Design in 2010, she spent time studying in London, volunteering with AmeriCorps Rural Community Improvement Projects, and worked for a textile manufacturing company. She has continued her education with architectural, built environment and art history courses at the University of Washington. Her interest in healthy interior environments and how interiors shape our life experiences play a meaningful part in her design process.
Bella Young
Designer
Bella’s fascination with the world of design and all things creative started at an early age, driving her to pursue a career in Interior Design. Since graduating from Seattle Pacific University with a bachelors in Interior Design, she has had her hand in various areas of design. Before joining the Hyde Evans Design team, she worked primarily in hospitality and marine. She loves the process of creating cozy and unique spaces.
Maxine Kao
STUDIO coordinator
Maxine’s career began with a BS degree in Economics and minor in Finance from Georgia State University in her hometown of Atlanta, GA. After working in insurance underwriting, Maxine decided to pursue more creatively aligned career paths. She freelanced full-time in event design and management before transitioning to set decoration for film and television. At Hyde Evans Design, Maxine uses her innate creativity and experience to support studio operations and the design team.
