Island Cabins
The dark exterior color palate of these Scandinavian-inspired remodeled guest cabins off the coast of Washington State was meant to blend in with the surroundings; almost camouflaged. But inside, the white walls and wainscot offer a brightness that, while completely different, complements the exterior perfectly. The clean lines of modern lighting and fixtures are minimalist and unpretentious. The simple yet effective kitchen was designed with utility in mind and the wood ceilings and floors offer a warmth and casualness to the spaces.
The result is straightforward yet refined, uncomplicated but comfortable. Exactly how a PNW cabin should be.
